Description
This is a pilot project and is a cooking session is parents / carers who have attended a HAF class at the Community Kitchen and is for adults only. It is a small session with a maximum of 6 participants.
Join us for a relaxing and friendly session and leave with new skills and inspiration.
Eating healthy and staying on track becomes much easier when you know what you are going to be eating for the next few days. Batch cooking your meals can be a real lifesaver for those days when you don't have the time or the energy.
In this short class we will be creating a 'one pot' dish with what we have in our store cupboard and fridge . As well as learning how to cut down on food waste you will pick up some savvy skills and tips to help you feel more confident in the kitchen.
Please bring x 2 medium sized containers to take your food home if you have them.
This class is FREE - if you cannot come for any reason after booking please let us now so we can give someone else your place.
Funded by the National Lottery Climate Action Fund.
