Description

New Orleans Community Seafood Marketplace

The NOLA Seafood Marketplace is a free community event celebrating Louisiana’s local seafood and the people who harvest it. Local fishermen will sell seafood directly to the public while displaying the gear they use to fish. Local chefs will demonstrate how to clean and fillet fish, and prepare fresh Gulf seafood.

The morning also includes storytelling and live music, featuring a performance by Bruce "Sunpie" Barnes.

Meet the people behind the catch, learn how to cook local seafood, and help support Louisiana’s coastal communities.

Free admission and open to all!
