Description

Come and join us at Ushaw to plant trees in our Community Woodland!

Ushaw has gone greener by planting thousands of new trees throughout its estate, over an area around the size of 21 football pitches.

We would love to invite you to help us to replant some of the trees that have not survived the winter months, as we seek to be a part of a sustainable future.

Sessions take place:

Sunday 1 February @ 1:30pm
Saturday 14 February @ 1:30pm
Sunday 1 March @ 1:30pm

There are also sessions on the morning of Sunday 1 February which are for members of uniformed organisations only.

More events may be arranged subject to demand, so please do check back later if your preferred session is fully booked.

Additional information:

Please be aware, tickets are free and there are only 20 places per session.
All tree planting volunteers will be entitled to free access to our House, Chapels and Gardens after the session.
Please dress appropriately for the outdoors, wear suitable footwear and bring a pair of gloves.
Children will need to be supervised by a responsible adult
