Becky Buller was born and raised in St. James, Minnesota, where her love of music began with piano lessons at age five, Suzuki violin in Mankato, and early performances with her family band, Prairie Grass. As a student, she sang in choir, marched in band, and played on the stage of Armstrong Auditorium — the very venue she now returns to nearly three decades later.
On April 26, 2026, Becky Buller brings her Where the Music Began Tour home to St. James for a night of music, storytelling, and celebration. For this award-winning fiddler, singer, and songwriter, the matinee performance is both a homecoming and a tribute to the Minnesota roots that launched her into the national bluegrass spotlight.
