6751 Calumet AvenueAs a leader of his own orchestra, Brian has performed at conventions, political rallies, entertained at corporate events, benefits and society wedding receptions. The Brian Patti Orchestra highlights include the Grand Opening of the Chicago Convention Center and the Inaugural Ball for the New Chicago Symphony Orchestra Center. As a recording artist, Brian has recreated clarinet styles of Artie Shaw and Benny Goodman for television and radio commercials. He is a featured soloist for a variety of ensembles in Chicago recording studios.
Brian has firmly established his woodwind skills with virtually every musical theater in the Chicagoland area. Highlights include "West Side Story" at the Chicago Theater, "42nd Street" at the Drury Lane Oak Brook Theater, "Sunset Boulevard" with the Chicago Lyric Opera Orchestra, Randy Newman’s "Faust" at the Goodman Theater, and most recently in "Fosse" at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts.
Patti was featured as the clarinet soloist with the Midwest touring company production of the Bob Fosse musical "Dancing". Other touring experience includes performances with the orchestras of Glenn Miller, Chuck Mangione, Wayne Newton and Tom Jones. Brian has performed locally with Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, Mel Torme, Natalie Cole, Maureen McGovern, Louis Bellison to name a few.
MGM movies contracted Brian Patti, through his manager Walt Jacobs, to hire and play in the orchestra for their 2000 release "Return to Me".
Brian’s ensembles have been featured on the radio on the 1940’s Radio Show. Television appearances include commercial work for the Showboat Mardi Gras Casino and United Airlines.
Annual appearances include The Park Ridge Fine Arts Symphony concerts in the Park and the Rockford Festival at the River Front.
Patti’s classical highlights include clarinet/saxophone for Gershwin’s "Porgy and Bess" with the Milwaukee Symphony and clarinet/saxophone with Erich Kunzel and The Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Brian won a Concerto Competition in conjunction with the Chicago Civic Orchestra performing Mozart’s Clarinet concerto.
Most recently Brian has been performing as soloist in his production of "A Big Band Tribute to Benny Goodman and Artie Shaw.
