Description

We are so excited to welcome the community back for the 28th season of our much-loved Concerts Under the Elms on the Great Lawn of the John Brown House Museum!

 

We are offering flexible passes to this year's concerts, allowing guests to purchase tickets in advance that can be used at any concert during the six-week season! Each pass provides access for one individual to a single concert. Passes are redeemable at any point during the 2025 CUE season, but will expire in September 2025 and cannot be used for future seasons. Please note that this season has a rain date of Thursday, August 7, in the event that a concert needs to be canceled due to inclement weather.

 

Passes are $10 for non-RIHS members. Children under 12 are free. RIHS members receive free admission to all concerts, with memberships starting as low as $45. Please visit our website for more information.

Concerts Under the Elms 2025 Lineup

Guests to our concerts are welcome to bring their own chairs, blankets, and coolers. Please note that dogs are not permitted unless they are service dogs. Support, therapy, comfort, or companion animals do not qualify as service animals under the ADA.
 

Thursday, June 26, 6:30pm: Funkademic 

Funkademic is a musical ensemble based in Providence, playing funk, soul, and R&B on period-correct instruments. Food provided by Cultrō.
 

Thursday, July 3, 6:30pm: The American Band 

The American Band is a symphonic concert band comprised of over 50 adult musicians from Rhode Island and nearby Connecticut and Massachusetts. With a repertoire that is both versatile and traditional, the American Band is one of the oldest continuously active bands in the United States. Food provided by Saugy’s.
 

Thursday, July 10, 6:30pm: The Narrow River Band 

The Narrow River Band is a southern RI-based acoustic rock band specializing in a wide range of music, from classic acoustic tunes from the 60s and 70s to inspired songs from emerging musical talent of today. Food provided by Blount Clam Shack.
 

Thursday, July 17, 6:30pm: Bird Stick 

BirdStick is an Aquidneck Island-based band covering a variety of genres from classic rock to contemporary hits. Food provided by Little B's BBQ.
 

Thursday, July 24, 6:30pm: Alexus Lee 

Alexus Lee is a Providence-based artist who has been with her effortless blend of soul, jazz, and R&B. On the stage, she dazzles audiences with her soulful storytelling, masterful vocals, and infectious grooves. Food provided by Nanu Burmese Fusion.
 

Thursday, July 31, 6:30pm: David Tessier’s All-Star Band of All-Star Stars 

David Tessier's All-Star Band of All-Star Stars is a musical collective performing rock ‘n’ roll works of all kinds, ranging from the prog-rock sounds of early Genesis and King Crimson, to the joyful sounds of The Beach Boys, Three Dog Night, David Bowie or The Cars. Food provided by Matilda.
