iuvenis Productions is excited to present Concord Floral by Jordan Tannahill, directed by Nathan Corpus & Maggie Martin.
"Concord Floral is a one-million-square-foot abandoned greenhouse and a refuge for neighbourhood kids; a place all to themselves in which to dream, dare, and come of age. But hidden there is a secret no one wants to confront, and when two friends stumble upon it they set off an unstoppable chain of events, from shadows in parking lots to phone calls from the grave.”
This show explores themes of collective responsibility, guilt, refuge, and teen voice. This teen-centred production will focus on giving that voice back to teens and allowing them to tell their own stories. The show contains mature content including coarse language, sexual themes, and substance use. The recommended audience age is 13+.
The show will run from July 8th-16th at the Intrepid Theatre Club.
Who We Are
iuvenis Productions is a new emerging theatre company started by Nathan Corpus and Teagan McElroy. We are a youth-based company dedicated to creating opportunities in the art for teens and young artists. This production team consists of four youth artists; Nathan Corpus and Maggie Martin as Co-Directors, Maddy Hooson-Kirstein as Stage Manager, and Abby Corpus as Music director. Our cast consists of ten youth actors; Pluto Faye, Scott Mitchell, Asa O'Connor-Jaeckel, Annie Lucas, Grace Fouracre, Aisha Haq, Erik Walden, Mylana Sheridan, Nim Sandhu, and Lauren Steinmann.
