We invite you and your bell ensemble to be part of our 2024 handbell invitational on the campus of Concordia University, Irvine. This is our annual event for high school, community, and church handbell ensembles. This invitational will be held on Saturday, March 16. It will include a mass ring performance led by Alex Guebert, optional adjudication/workshop sessions, and a combined handbell concert featuring your ensemble as well as Concordia's handbell ensembles. The intention of this invitational is to learn from other directors, experience the greater handbell community, and perform for an audience of handbell fans in the beautiful performance venue on campus. 

For those of you who have attended our invitationals in the past, I welcome you to join us again! And if you have never attended a CUI invitational, please let me know if you would like to attend this special event, and I would be glad to walk you through the details. 

Ensembles will need to bring their own handbells, pads, cloths, etc. We will provide tables. This will be a fantastic performance opportunity! 

Time:
The Concert will be at 4:00pm with time for warmups, adjudication, and the rehearsal of the mass ring piece earlier in the day. Once registration closes, I will contact you to confirm an appropriate arrival and warm up time earlier in the day. We are planning for each participating ensemble to have longer warmup times than last year.

Registration Fee:
$100 per school or ensemble (includes optional adjudication session).
