Michael Busch, conductor

Marking the beginning of Holy Week, Concordia presents the monumental St. John Passion of J.S. Bach. Christ's passion and death are recounted from the Gospel of John in a gripping potrayal of devotion, betrayal, and sacrifice. Michael Busch conducts the Concordia Choir, Master Chorale, orchestra and soloists in one of Bach's most celebrated works. Performed in German with English subtitles.
 

The Master Chorale and Concordia Choir are dedicated to excellence and perform for thousands of people each year in the beautiful acoustics of the Concordia Center for Worship and Performing Arts. They are joined by the MasterWorks orchestra, an ensemble consisting of professional instrumentalists from the community.
