Experience and celebrate Concordia's pipe organs in this unique moving concert! Audience members will experience varied repertoire on all three of the university's instruments, including the new Michael Doyle+ Organ in Zhang Orchestra Hall. The program includes the world premier of Mueller's Five Chorale Preludes on Joyful Themes. The concert begins at Good Shepherd Chapel at 2:00pm; shuttle service between venues will be available for attendees.
Tom Mueller serves as Associate Professor of Church Music, University Organist, and Music Department Chair at Concordia University in Irvine, California, where he directs academic programs in keyboard, composition, and jazz, and serves in chapel music leadership. An award-winning church musician, he serves as the Associate Organist at St. James’ Church in Los Angeles. He is an active recitalist, clinician, and adjudicator.
