Description
Connect Theatre is excited to present Shrek The Musical as our 2022 production. Returning from a two year break due to COVID, our cast and company is excited to bring musical theatre back to the Dundas & Hamilton Community.
Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film, Shrek The Musical is a Tony Award-winning fairy tale adventure, featuring all new songs from Jeanine Tesori (Thoroughly Modern Millie; Caroline, or Change) and a sidesplitting book by David Lindsay-Abaire. Shrek brings all the beloved characters you know from the film to life on stage and proves there's more to the story than meets the ears. (Musical Theatre International)
Our goal is to be able to host this full scale production within the sanctuary of the Dundas Baptist Church. However, due to the changing conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic and the government mandated health and safety restrictions, we may be forced to modify our plans.
