Using the time-proven teaching method of follow-me demos with step-by-step instruction, Connie will provide many opportunities for creativity and personalization, as well. Watercolor painters at ALL levels will have fun as they splash, sling, experiment and discover new ways to manipulate the medium. Connie throws in plenty of tips, tricks, theory and techniques to begin -or add to- your repertoire of skills.

This is a “brand new” workshop, with even more of the possibilities and attributes of this magical way to create offered for your discovery and use.

BIOGRAPHY: Nationally recognized, Oklahoma visual artist, Connie Seabourn (b.1951), is best known for her soul-touching, spiritually charged, translucent watercolor paintings. Widely exhibited and eagerly collected for both public and private collections for over five decades, her artworks -although featuring a variety of subjects- share her unique style. Her distinctive artist’s voice, (choice of colors/palette, varied textures, distinctive use of space, and especially her adept use of layered washes to emphasize the ethereal), makes her paintings immediately recognizable, no matter what subject she paints. Continuing to learn, grow and experiment through the years, her formal education includes a BFA from the University of Oklahoma and an MEd in art education from the University of Central Oklahoma.
