Session 4 - Contract Writing For Artists - Launch Pad 2026 - Autumn Session
Conclude the Launchpad 2026 Autumn Session with Contract Writing for Artists, presented by DT Productions, the Kelowna Arts Council, and Marmalade Cat. This final session runs Monday, November 24th from 4:30–7:30pm at Marmalade Cat and will focus on the paper-pushing side of being a self-represented artist. We’ll cover the essentials of contracting in the music industry — from gig agreements to agent representation contracts — while emphasizing artist-first practices. The workshop will also touch on invoicing and even a bit of tax know-how in the Canadian system. A special guest speaker (TBA) will bring additional industry insight.
Bundle all 4 for $200, or pick and choose for $65 per session. Each ticket includes a meal provided by Marmalade Cat.
