Please use this link to schedule your appointment for the Pfizer vaccine.
The following individuals are eligible to book vaccine appointments:
- Anyone who qualifies for a third dose/booster as described below.
- Anyone ages 12 and older who needs a first dose of the Pfizer vaccine.
- Anyone ages 12 and older who needs a second dose of the Pfizer vaccine. (Must show proof that you have previously received one dose of Pfizer vaccine.)
The NC Department of Health and Human Services now says you are eligible for a booster if:
- You are 12 or older, and
- You received your second/final dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine more than FIVE months ago, or
- You received your Johnson & Johnson vaccine more than TWO months ago.
You may receive any brand of COVID-19 vaccine for your booster shot. Some people may have a preference for the vaccine type that they originally received and others may prefer to get a different booster. Limited evidence suggests that booster doses of one of the two mRNA vaccines – Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTech – more effectively raise antibody levels than a booster dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
