Please use this link to schedule your appointment for the Pfizer vaccine. 

The following individuals are eligible to book vaccine appointments:

  • Those who qualify as being immunocompromised, as defined by the FDA and CDC.  (Must show proof that you have previously received two doses of Pfizer vaccine.) See below for qualifying criteria.
  • Anyone ages 12 and older who needs a first dose of the Pfizer vaccine.
  • Anyone ages 12 and older who needs a second dose of the Pfizer vaccine. (Must show proof that you have previously received one dose of Pfizer vaccine.)

Please note: In order to receive a third dose, you must meet eligibility guidelines. The FDA and CDC Guidance at this time is for the following groups to receive a third dose of the COVID-19 Vaccine:

  • Receiving active chemotherapy treatment for tumors or cancer of blood
  • Receiving solid organ transplant or taking immunosuppressive treatment subsequent to organ transplant
  • Received a stem cell transplant within the past 2 years or taking immunosuppressive treatment subsequent to stem cell transplant
  • Advanced or untreated HIV infection
  • Physician diagnosed moderate or severe primary immunodeficiency condition (such as DiGeorge Syndrome, Sikott-Adlrich Syndrome)
  • Active chronic treatment (30 days or more) with corticosteroids
  • People 65 years and older and residents in long-term care settings should receive a booster shot of Pfizer-BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine at least 6 months after their Pfizer-BioNTech primary series;
  • People aged 50 to 64 with certain underlying medical conditions should receive a booster shot of Pfizer-BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine at least 6 months after their Pfizer-BioNTech primary series;
  • People 18 to 49 who are at high risk for severe COVID-19 due to certain underlying medical conditions may receive a booster shot of Pfizer-BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine at least 6 months after their Pfizer-BioNTech primary series, based on their individual benefits and risks; and 
  • People aged 18-64 years who are at increased risk for COVID-19 exposure and transmission because of occupational or institutional setting may receive a booster shot of Pfizer-BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine at least 6 months after their Pfizer-BioNTech primary series, based on their individual benefits and risks.

Iredell Memorial Hospital is administering the Pfizer-BioNtech vaccine. All doses must be the same vaccine. In other words, if your 1st dose is Pfizer-BioNtech, your 2nd dose cannot be Moderna, or vice versa. The third dose must also be the same.
