Crawfish Crawl 2026: Taste of the Race & Post-Race Party
Start the morning with Taste of the Race, a new brunch tasting experience from 9:00–11:00 AM along Dining Street behind the 5K finish line. Local Rankin County restaurants and food trucks will showcase brunch-inspired bites for guests and judges, with awards for Best Non-Crawfish Dish, Best Crawfish Dish, and Overall Taste of the Race Winner. Limited tickets available!
After the race, keep the celebration going with the Crawfish Crawl Post-Race Party! As a fundraiser for Brandon Main Street, Mudbugs042 will open early 10:30 AM – 2:00PM for ticket holders only (open to the public at 2PM). Enjoy live music from the Patrick Harkins Band, cold beverages, baseball on the TVs, and plenty of crawfish while gathering around big tables with friends and family.
Tickets for the Crawfish Crawl event are sold separately from the 5K.
• Adult Crawfish Ticket – $25: Includes 2 lbs of crawfish + 1 beverage (domestic beer or non-alcoholic)
• Child Crawfish Ticket: Includes 1 lb of crawfish + non-alcoholic beverage
While you’re downtown, enjoy additional activities including:
• Live Mudbug Races at Mudbugs – pick a crawfish and bet on the fastest one!
• Live painting of the 5K finish line scene by Brandon native and BHS graduate Cliff Speaks; we'll sell raffle tickets for a chance to win this incredible orignal piece!
• Genna Benna’s will host a post-race event inside the restaurant, offering a breakfast buffet for those downtown for the race.
