Description

Please join Sonoma Ecology Center and Glen Ellen Forum for a litter cleanup event on our beloved Sonoma Creek over the Glen Ellen Bridge, parking at the Glen Ellen Post Office

Trash is the visible form of stormwater pollution, a threat to the water and forest health in our beloved park. Removing litter helps to keep Sonoma Creek clean, protecting its ecosystems, wildlife, and visitors.

Volunteers ages 5 and up who are fully vaccinated may volunteer for this event.

Wear clothing and sturdy close-toed boots or shoes. Bring water, a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, and gloves (optional) if you have them. Light refreshments will be provided. Grabbers, trash bags, buckets, and some gloves will be provided.
