Description

Please join Sonoma Ecology Center for a litter cleanup event on our beloved Sonoma Creek on May 14, 9-11 am!

Trash is the visible form of stormwater pollution, a threat to the water and forest health in our beloved park. Removing litter helps to keep Sonoma Creek clean, protecting its ecosystems, wildlife, and visitors.

The location for this month's event is maxwell farms regional park, 100 Verano Ave, Sonoma, CA 95476.  We have fee waivers to cover the parking costs for the day!

Wear clothing and sturdy close-toed boots or rain boots (preferably). Bring water, a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, and gloves (optional) if you have them. Light refreshments will be provided. Grabbers, trash bags, buckets, and some gloves will be provided.
