Did you know? Your event attendance empowers the Foundation to bolster the Gahanna Parks & Recreation Department and advance its mission of enhancing the quality of life for the City's residents through access to and engagement with its parks, recreational facilities, and programs. This year's Hops & Vines event will not only contribute to traditional parks and recreation attendee scholarships but will also generate funds to aid the development of the new outdoor education center at the Price Road House, currently under construction on the City’s West side. Facility will be used for Gahanna residents of all ages and backgrounds to increase access to educational and recreational opportunities.
Since established, the Foundation has raised more than $500,000 and provided support for:
- Camp, Programming and Pool Scholarships
- Communication Boards at multiple parks
- The mountain bike trail at Academy Park
- Sunpoint Park Development
- Friendship Park’s Pickleball Court Installation
- Woodside Green’s Nature Playground
- School and Community Arts Donations
- Grant Writing for Parks Opportunities
- Designated Driver tickets are also available for attendees providing safe transportation for other guests. Non-alcoholic beverages will be available.
