Tour the newly re-opened Studio Museum in Harlem - the nexus for artists of African descent locally, nationally, and internationally.
The Studio Museum initially opened in 1968 in a loft over a liquor store. In the early 1980s, it moved into a dilapidated former bank that had been donated to the institution. The new building, which opened to the public on November 15, stands on the same footprint but now looms over Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard — taller, polished, and modern.
CRS Outings is made possible by generous support from Marcia and David Lavipour, and Maxine Schweitzer.
No refunds will be issued within 14 days of the event start date. All requests must be made in writing to crs@crsnyc.org.
