Join American Experiment North Dakota to learn about our two-part campaign to eliminate the state income tax and limit local government spending increases to the rate of inflation each year. There’s a lot of energy in North Dakota today about how we pay for government services. But what’s the best way forward? Eliminating the state income tax will force the North Dakota legislature to cut spending to replace the $1.256 billion they currently receive from our paychecks. Capping spending at the rate of inflation is a much better solution than having the state permanently cover the costs of schools, cities and counties.
