What You Will Learn
This will be a glimpse into our trip to the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. We will prepare 3 dishes that we enjoyed while there, as we share stories of our adventure in the Bourbon Country.
Menu
- Appetizers: Benedictine Dip & Beer Cheese Dip (Both quintessential Kentucky favorites!)
- Main Course: Kentucky Hot Brown – created at the historic Brown Hotel in downtown Louisville, this classic dish features roasted turkey breast atop toast points napped with Mornay sauce, Pecorino Romano cheese, baked until golden brown and finished with bacon and tomatoes. Comfort food at its best!!
- Dessert: Pumpkin Cheesecake with Pepita Pralines, Salted Caramel & Maple Whipped Cream
What To Expect
Great cooking is about more than just recipes—it's about celebrating culinary experiences with a foodie community. In this class, our professional chef instructor will show you how to create this fabulous menu, as well as offer you an exciting opportunity to assist in the kitchen.
- Instructor: Chef Gwyn
- Length: Approximately 3 hours
- Format: Demonstration Plus. Class will be taught by the instructors, with the opportunity for class members to be invited into the kitchen and assist with certain portions of the recipes. Everyone in the class will be able to enjoy the menu items made at the conclusion of the demonstration.
- Restrictions: Ages 16 and older. Students under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
All students will receive a coupon good for 10% off any purchases made or class scheduled during the class.
