At dusk, Cairo glows.
The call to prayer drifts across rooftops. Lanterns flicker in narrow alleyways. The scent of cumin, coriander, and slow-simmered stews fills the air.
Join Chef Gwyn for an intimate Culinary Adventures Salon inspired by her recent travels through Egypt.
In this immersive evening, we’ll gather around one long candlelit table as Chef Gwyn shares stories from bustling markets, quiet Nile mornings, ancient streets, and unforgettable meals. Each course has been thoughtfully designed to reflect the flavors, textures, and traditions she experienced — from vibrant mezze and warm spices to deeply comforting dishes meant to be shared.
This is not a cooking class.
It is not a lecture.
It is a curated culinary salon.
Expect layered flavors. Thoughtful wine pairings (optional). Conversation that lingers. And a room transformed to evoke Egypt at dusk — understated, elegant, and warm.
Seating is limited to 16 guests to preserve the intimacy of the experience.
Come ready to travel — through story, culture, and the shared language of food.
The menu will be released closer to the class date, following Gwyn’s return from her travels.
What To Expect
- Instructor: Chef Gwyn
- Length: Approximately 2 hours.
- Format: Demonstration: The Chef will showcase how to prepare select dishes while you observe. Volunteers may be invited to assist, and questions are always welcome throughout the class.
- Location: First floor.
- Restrictions: Ages 16 and older. Students under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
All students will receive 10% off any scheduled public class(es) purchased that evening.
Experience Options
- General Admission: Arrive up to one hour before the start of class to enjoy cocktail hour at NTTC's fully-stocked bar.
