Teams, if you're here to register, you are in the correct place.
Team Registration includes access to the lot for the overnight cooking, as well as 6 drink tickets per team (good during normal operating hours for a draft beer, glass of wine, or rail drink.
Rules;
Judges competition requires a rib dish with minimum of 6 pieces for turn in. Entries will be turned inside an 8”x 8” Styrofoam container supplied at Friday check in. Turn in will be judged for appearance, tenderness, and taste and judged on a blind system. Judges turn in will be Saturday at noon.
Peoples Choice competition will require (2) two 10lb minimum pork shoulders, and ready to serve to public between 12:30-2:30. Unlimited samples of pulled pork will be handed out to peoples choice ticket holders in 2oz sample cups. Gloves and masks are always required while handing out samples. Ticket holders will vote for their favorite entry.
All meat is to be supplied by Cult Classic and is included in your registration.
All meats must be cooked in its entirety on site.
Sample cups and small forks will be handed out to teams Saturday am.
All teams can have multiple team members if needed.
All teams must have a digital meat thermometer as well sanitizing or cleaning wipes
All traditional smokers as well as electric smokers and grills allowed.
A 10x20 space will be dedicated for each team, teams must have a least one 10x10 tent set up
Electric will be available for teams if needed.
Metal barrels will be supplied to dispose of grey water, and ash barrels will be available for proper disposal
Trash must be kept tidy in your space, disposal of bags will be available on site.
Registration will require a one-day permit application to be submitted to QAC Health Dept.
Check in will be allowed between 5-8 pm Friday.
One person must be present at all times at your site.
Trophies will be given to Judges Champion, as well as People’s Choice Champion
All meats must be kept above 140 degrees or warmer during serving periods.
Awards will be announced at 3:00
