Description
Join us this summer for Cursive Foundations—a welcoming, hands-on series designed especially for kids learning cursive for the first time, with space for adults who want a refresher.
In this series, during each session, students will:
- practice the “building block” strokes that make cursive easier
- learn letter shapes and how to connect them
- write simple words and short phrases with confidence
- build steady progress in a relaxed, encouraging setting—without pressure
We’ll also spend time learning to read cursive, using a few selected diary entries from the SHSM collection.
Materials: SHSM will provide workbooks and pens.
Schedule: Official dates and times TBD (we’re considering Sundays in the summer).
Format: Classes may be taken as a series or as drop-in sessions.
Cost: $25 per class.
Ages: Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
