Custom Sign Making for Small Businesses

Description

Create your own custom small business signage using advanced fabrication technology.  Join Ball State University professor Kevin Klinger to learn the basics of CNC routing using the Digital WoodCarver to create your own custom sign complete with a personal logo or design.

This 2-series class will lead participants through the digital design and fabrication techniques to prototype and assemble creative, customized full-scale CNC signage. 

Session 1: Participants will explore CNC software and design, and create practice test cuts on the Digital Woodcarver. Please bring a digital copy of your small business logo or image idea with you. 

Session 2: Will be scheduled in the 1-2 weeks following the instructional class for you to meet one-on-one with the instructor to complete your final project.

Recommended for ages 18+ All supplies will be provided. No prior skills or experience is necessary.  Participants are encouraged to provide a high resolution digital image of their logo during the first workshop session.
