Description

Come learn how to Divide Dahlias with Horticulturist and Gardener Amy. Here at Laughing Goat, we've been planting, growing, digging, dividing, and storing Dahlia tubers for commercial use for 10 years, and would love to pass on the "tricks" to success. 

In this class, Amy will first demonstrate, while explaining the why's, of how to divide a tuber clump, answering questions along the way. Following this demonstration, each participant will be given 1 tuber clump to divide, while Amy talks the group through the process. 

This is a truly hands-on class, and each participant will be given 2 tubers to take home in clearly marked bags to plant in the Spring. 

There is an optional ticket that includes a brand new pair of ARS SE-45 snips, which are Amy's preferred snips for dividing tubers. If you select the option to bring your own snips from home, please make sure they are cleaned and sharpened. We will provide a sanitary dipping solution for all outside snips before being used on tubers as a precaution.
