Description

In this class, participants will have the opportunity to learn about and experience three folk dances from India. They include Bhangra (energetic dance from the state of Punjab), Garba (circle dance from the state of Gujarat), and Dandiya Raas (stick dance from the state of Gujarat). These dances have historically been done in community during special events and festivals. Join Smita Khatri for a joyous exploration of these dance styles.

 

Registration Information:

$13 per class for Early Bird Registration (Ends at 11:59 PM the night before the class, or until early bird capacity is reached)

$15 per class for General Registration (Available at the door with cash, check, or card, until overall class capacity is reached)

Due to space limitations, each class has a maximum of 25 participants. If advance registrations are not available, drop-in admission is available at the door until we reach class capacity.
