Dancing with Dementia – An Evening of Awareness, Connection, and Community
Dancing with Dementia, hosted by the Dogwood Monarch Lions Club with the Alzheimer Society of BC, is an evening designed to deepen understanding, spark connection, and walk together on the journey of dementia awareness.
Guided by specialists from the Alzheimer Society of BC, participants will take part in interactive experiences that shed light on what dementia means for individuals, families, and communities — offering insight, practical tools, and new perspectives. Dinner will be provided as part of the program, with activities and games continuing throughout, keeping the focus on participation and shared discovery.
The evening flows into live music and dancing with The Lounge Hounds, a joyful way to close a night that balances learning with laughter and community spirit.
