Winner of NBC’s 2017 America’s Got Talent season for her brilliant ventriloquist act. She was only twelve years old at the time! 

 

Her Golden Buzzer performance quickly became one of the most-viewed acts in the show’s history. She was one of the youngest artists to ever win a season competition. 

 

Her 2017 win was followed by her highly-rated appearance in 2018 on NBC’s My Hometown Christmas, which also featured Toby Keith and Kristin Chenoweth. This Christmas special reached over 9 million households.

 

The same year, Darci embarked on a 50-stop U.S. tour that sold more than 100,000 tickets and grossed $5.2 million — while she was still in middle school.

 

Darci is now 21 years old with an all-new show that still includes her enchanting puppets —Petunia, Oscar, Andy and Edna — each brought to life with a distinct personality.

The Barnhill Center

Built-in 1925, in the grand architectural style of Beaux-Arts Classical Revival, the Simon Theatre provided a splendid setting for many theatrical performances, film screenings and ballroom dances. The James Simon family commissioned Houston architect Alfred C. Finn, whose career included designing a number of prominent Houston buildings as well as the San Jacinto Monument, to design the theatre for the community of Brenham. Today, after a meticulous million-plus dollar renovation, the glamour and grand style lives on for future generations in the newly named Barnhill Center at Historic Simon Theatre.
