Experience the soul of Southwest Louisiana in the heart of New Orleans. Dat Zydeco Fest is more than a festival, it's a movement. The second annual festival is back at The Broadside New Orleans on March 21. This family-friendly event celebrates Creole music, cuisine and culture.

Dat Zydeco Festival is Back!  Y'all, we had a ball at the inaugural Dat Zydeco Fest in 2025. Zydeco fans traveled from Texas, Mississippi, and of course, across Louisiana. 
Join us on Saturday, March 21st, at The Broadside New Orleans for the second annual Dat Zydeco Fest. Doors will open at 4 p.m. 

Festival co-founders and Zydeco brothers, Sean and Chris Ardoin, and vanguard J. Paul Jr. are scheduled to perform.

FAQ

  • The showtime listed for the event is the time the event starts. Doors will generally open an hour before the listed show time unless otherwise listed.
  • We allow pets during the day, but not at night for music (anything after 7pm). Service animals are always allowed
  •  Please do not park in the Broad Theater parking lot. We have a parking lot for The Broadside and plenty street parking available on Toulouse and Lafitte. If you would like to be escorted to your car, please ask the Sheriff on duty. You may also park in the Auto Zone parking lot if they are closed. 
  • Our outdoor space has a variety of seating options such as benches, picnic tables, chairs, and stools. If you require a seat for health reasons or disability, please ask a staff member and they can provide you with a chair.
