Ready to try the pottery wheel together? Join us for a special Date Night at the Wheel: Queer Edition at Community Clay in RiNo, a celebration of creativity and togetherness.
This evening is designed especially for LGBTQ+ folks who want to share a creative experience in a welcoming, affirming space. Expect beverages, laughter and lots of clay-covered fun.
We keep our classes small so everyone receives personalized instruction and attention. Space is limited.
$85 per ticket (tickets sold in pairs only)
• Each person gets their own wheel
• 2 hours of hands-on guidance
• 1 finished piece per person included
No need to bring anything but your creativity (and your person). We provide aprons, clay, tools, beverages, and a supportive, joy-filled atmosphere. Beginners and experienced potters alike are welcome.
After the workshop, we’ll glaze and fire your pieces in the kiln. Your finished ceramics will be ready for pickup in about 3 weeks.

About your host
After a decade long professional ballet career, Michael transitioned to ceramics. He quickly found a passion for instruction, and has been teaching wheel classes ever since. Michael focuses on helping new potters develop their technical skills and artistic expression, all while creating a fun and positive environment, making it easy to explore the creativity of clay.
