Description

Sharing the same birthdays of April 8, both Dave and Seamus (pronounced as Shaymus) love to not take themselves too seriously. While performing in Faber Drive they will often break into random conversations about stupid crap they did as kids, quotes from the movie Step Brothers or their guilty pleasure McDonalds meals. However, while their silly sense of humors can be entertaining, they’re biggest strength lies in smashing drums, distorted guitars and pop punk heart felt vocals. For the last 20 years the multi-platinum rockers have cut their teeth and perfected their live show touring across Canada in tiny dive hole bars all the way up to sold out arenas opening for such acts as Nickelback, Sum 41, Trooper, Simple Plan and Marianas Trench. They love playing  their classic Canadian bangers like Tongue Tied, When I’m With You, You and I Tonight, Second Chance (and many more) but they also love rocking out smash cover songs like Have You Ever Seen The Rain, Brown Eyed Girl, Teenage Dirtbag and I Want You To Want Me etc. The Juno nominated April 8ers are currently working on an Asian tour for this fall in the Phillipines, Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia but they are also playing some massive Canadian festivals. The 3 biggest festivals they are most excited to play this summer are All Your Friends Fest (Avril Lavigne, Simple Plan & Boys Like Girls), Bluewater Borderfest (Billy Talent, Hinder, Red Jumpsuit) and Sauble Beach Party (with Marianas Trench, Classified, The Reklaws and Brett Kissel). They also just released a 4 song EP called LIFELINE and will be performing songs off of this EP including the punk rock version of Fabers sons ( Powfu ) song called “death bed” that was a world wide mega smash with almost 2 Billion streams on Spotify alone. If you want to meet, come hang out,  and hear Seamus and Dave play some of their biggest hits at an up close and personal concert than this is it!
