CURRENTS New Media fosters new media arts and presents artists creating innovative work. Our annual festival provides the public with opportunities to engage in immersive and expansive art.
Description
Art & Technology in a Culture of Speed is a two-day symposium that brings together artists, curators, and scholars whose work engages with time as a central theme. Through panel discussions, artist talks, and a tour of selected works in the festival, the symposium will explore how technological acceleration shapes artistic practice, perception, and experience. By examining works that engage with duration, slowness, immediacy, and digital time, the event provides a space for critical reflection on how we navigate temporality in a technology-driven world.
Please note: Space is limited. This RSVP ticket is valid only for Day Two — Sunday, June 15.
A Festival ticket (either an All Access Pass or Day Pass) is also required for entry.
