DAYFEVER:
With emphatic highs and gut wrenching lows the illustrious 5 piece deliver a sonic fusion of heavy hitting guitar grooves married to the delicate nuance of Connor’s song writing. Offering a warm hand to the listener as the band meanders through themes of love, loss and introspection.

Bringing together members from some of Ballarat finest bands, Dayfever threatens to be the side project that takes over the world stage.Watching the band live, be sure to bring your tissues and antihistamines because who knows, maybe you’ll be lulled into a fever of your own?

BRENDAN SKINNER:
Throughout the 2000s, Brendan was an active figure in the Victorian music scene. He shared stages with acclaimed artists such as Josh Pyke, Juan Alban, The Panics, Tex Perkins, and Carus Thompson, earning a reputation for his heartfelt performances, intricate guitar work, and innovative usage of loop pedals.

In 2013, Brendan and his band, The Relevant Advice Club, released the EP "Conclusions." This period was particularly busy for Brendan, as he juggled solo performances and gigs with his band, sometimes under the alias "Alameda." The EP's standout singles, "Plastic" and "Conclusions," received significant airplay on community radio across Australia, with "Plastic" debuting at No. 2 on Amrap's Airit chart.

Brendan's collaboration with Juan Alban extended to contributing to Alban's solo album "Dr Pelican on Holiday," where Brendan played guitar, banjo, and provided backing vocals. Following the album's release, Brendan continued to perform with Alban for several years, further highlighting their musical synergy. Despite facing a near-decade-long hiatus due to health issues, Brendan is now poised to return to the stage. His music, influenced by the likes of Elliott Smith and The Beatles, resonates with personal emotion and experience, blending heartfelt lyrics with both acoustic and electric guitar compositions.
