Our Service Area is a subset of the Girl Scouts of the Northwestern Great Lakes Council, located in De Pere, Wisconsin. We have almost 400 girls registered as Girl Scouts and over 160 registered Adult volunteers as of 2/2024. Our Service Area organizes many events throughout the year including a 5-day long day camp in August.
Description
Come walk with your sister Scouts in the Kiwanis De Pere 2025 Memorial Day Parade!
The parade starts at the West De Pere High School Parking lot and ends just north of the Kress Library. Please be at the line-up spot by 9 am--our spot in the parade will be sent out to everyone prior to that day.
There will not be a trailer this year so please feel free to bring a wagon for your younger Scout if they won't be able to walk the whole wa. If Daisy's wish to hand out candy, they must have an adult by them at all times.
Candy will be provided however you may bring your own if you wish.
All registered Scouts are invited along with their parent/guardian. Anyone walking must either wear a Girl Scout uniform or GS t-shirt or something red, white and blue-themed.
Patches will be given out the day of the parade.
Deadline to register is Wednesday, 5/22/25.
