Dear Nora is an indie-pop band founded by Katy Davidson (they/them) in 1999, based in Portland, Oregon. With a discography spanning over a decade, Dear Nora's sound evolved from speedy pop to atmospheric slow burners, with a distinctive focus on melodies and an unconventional approach to songwriting. On their most recent album, 2022's human futures, Katy takes on the role of the top-line writer, and the band collaborates to create a more contemporary,  record that explores the implications of modern technology and an increasingly connected world.
