Description

Join us for a free, floor-based mobility class designed especially for people living with multiple sclerosis and anyone experiencing mobility challenges.
This gentle session takes place on a yoga mat and moves at a calm, steady pace. We’ll work through 8–10 guided mobility exercises that improve flexibility, reduce stiffness, and build the foundational strength needed for everyday movement.

What to Expect

Slow, controlled mobility exercises done on a mat

Light strengthening and gentle stretching

A small amount of simple cardio to warm up the body

A few resistance band movements (upper and lower body)

Clear, easy-to-follow guidance with no pressure to keep up

A supportive, encouraging environment

What You’ll Need

A yoga mat or comfortable floor surface

A light to medium resistance band

Comfortable clothing

Water nearby

Optional: small pillow or folded towel for added support

Who This Class Is For
This class is created for individuals with MS or mobility limitations who want to move better, loosen tight muscles, and build gentle strength. No previous experience is required.

Equipment

Mobility Fit

Mobility.fit offers gentle, twice-weekly mobility classes designed for people living with multiple sclerosis and others who experience mobility challenges. Each session blends slow, controlled mobility work with stretching, light strengthening, and a touch of simple cardio — all focused on helping participants move more confidently, comfortably, and safely.

Our goal is to create an accessible, supportive space where everyone can improve their range of motion, loosen tight muscles, reduce stiffness, and build everyday strength. Classes are easy to follow, held at a steady pace, and do not require any previous fitness experience.

Mobility.fit is a free community program dedicated to helping people feel better in their bodies through consistent, intentional movement.

Equipment Needed for the Class

To get the most benefit from our Mobility.Fit sessions, you’ll need two simple pieces of equipment.
Please order them ahead of time so you’re fully prepared for class:

1. Foot & Calf Stretcher – Stretching Strap
2. Fabric Resistance Bands
3. Long Stretch Bands
