Description
This workshop introduces methods for incorporating collage methods into handmade paper. Using a deckle box allows the possibility of composing in wet pulp. In addition to working with deckleboxes, students will learn sheet formation methods such as dipping, double couching and layering pulps. This workshop focuses on exploring creative methods such as embedding cloth and textile materials, combining pulps in a deckle box and using pigments. Students can expect to create a sampler of papers, as well as unique works using textile materials.
Students can bring their own collage materials or use the shared materials provided.
