Description
DELTA EGYPTIAN FILM FESTIVAL - AMERICAN VAMPIRES: Filmed entirely in Grand Junction, AMERICAN VAMPIRES is Hank Braxtan’s blood-soaked collision of bounty hunters, ancient evil and homegrown Western Slope movie magic.
Saturday, September 26 at 7:00 p.m.
Unrated | 2 hr. 20 min. | Horror/Action
A bounty hunter chasing a fugitive beneath the wide-open skies of Colorado discovers something far worse hiding beneath a quiet town: an ancient vampire and a whole lot of very hungry trouble.
From Grand Valley native filmmaker Hank Braxtan, AMERICAN VAMPIRES blends horror, action, suspense, gore and the dark history of the American West into one wildly entertaining homegrown feature. The film was made entirely in Grand Junction, with more than 50 local actors, filmmakers, veterans, CMU Tech students and faculty members working in front of and behind the camera. There are methed-out vampires, an undead barbershop quartet and even a vampire mob taking over Main Street. For once, Grand Junction gets to play itself onscreen!
