Developing Language skills at home - Parent Workshop

Please join us for our next educational workshop on How to Develope Language Skills at Home on Tuesday November 21st, 2023 at 6:30 pm at Rainbow Play Cafe (921 12th st, New Westminster, BC) in collaboration with Words in Motion - Spanish School, led in Spanish.

 

This wil be an interactive session filled with engaging activities designed to enhance language skills at home! Reserve your spot today for an enriching experience that will positively impact your child's linguistic journey.  

 

Our workshops and educational programs are for everyone, not just for young or inexperienced parents. They're for everyone who wants to learn more!

 

This is a parent-focused workshop where we will:

• Explore the world of language development with our Spanish Language Workshop for Parents!
• Take home practical techniques and valuable insights provided by a language specialist.
• Conducted entirely in Spanish, this workshop offers Latin parents a unique opportunity to learn effective communication strategies and gain a deeper understanding of their child's language milestones.
• Useful and simple strategies for parents to aid in the language development of young children, from babies to preschool ages.
• Learn how to foster language acquisition from the early years of life.
• Together, we will address common questions and concerns of parents with young children regarding language acquisition and explore tools that can assist in this process.

 

This workshop is presented by Miss Carla Vallin, a dedicated counselor and teacher with a Master Degree in Family Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in ECE with more than 10 years of experience working with kids, and Miss Lili, who is a Special Needs Teacher born in Mexico. Her love for children can be seen in every detail of her guidance, tutoring, consulting and teaching. Her passion and enthusiasm for kids and teaching and her outgoing personality turns her work into a creative and comfy space to be and belong.

Acompáñanos este próximo jueves 21 de noviembre a las 6:30pm a nuestro siguiente taller educativo para padres - Cómo Desarrollar Habilidades del Lenguaje desde Casa, impartido por Words In Motion - Escuela de Español en British Columbia, en Rainbow Play Café (921 12th street, New Westminster, BC).

En este taller dedicado y enfocado en padres de familia, estaremos aprendiendo y desarrollando lo siguiente:

• Exploraremos el mundo del desarrollo del lenguaje en este Taller para padres
• Podrán llevarse a casa estrategias útiles y sencillas para que los padres ayuden al desarollo del lenguaje en niños pequeños desde bebés hasta edades preescolares proveidas por maestras altamente capacitadas y especialistas en el lenguaje
• Será conducido y presentado 100% en español.
• Aprenderás a cómo impulsar la adquicisión del lenguaje desde los primeros años de vida
• Resolveremos juntos preguntas y dudas comunes de padres con niños pequeños, con respecto a la adquisición del lengua y qué herramientas pueden ayudar en este proceso.
