Este año, Spring Haven Farm abrirá su espacio para una reunión comunitaria de Día de Muertos. Reconocemos que esta es una tradición cultural y espiritual profundamente significativa, y nuestra intención es simplemente ofrecer un lugar acogedor donde miembros de la comunidad latina, junto con sus amigos y vecinos, puedan reunirse, recordar y celebrar juntos.
Habrá una ofrenda comunitaria disponible para quienes deseen colocar fotografías, ofrendas u otros elementos significativos en honor a sus seres queridos que han fallecido. Las personas invitadas también pueden traer su propia comida, compartir tradiciones o pasar un momento tranquilo de reflexión.
Se invitará a vendedores locales de comida a ofrecer platillos tradicionales, y la granja permanecerá abierta hasta la noche para encender velas y rendir homenaje. Un porcentaje de las ventas de boletos se donará a El Centro Hispano para apoyar su importante labor en la comunidad.
Este no es un programa dirigido por la granja. Es simplemente un espacio donde los miembros de la comunidad pueden reunirse, compartir y honrar las tradiciones del Día de Muertos a su manera. Todas las personas son bienvenidas.

This year, Spring Haven Farm will be opening our space for a Día de Muertos gathering. We recognize that this is a deeply meaningful cultural and spiritual tradition, and our intention is simply to provide a welcoming place for members of the Latino community, their friends, and neighbors to gather, remember, and celebrate together.
A community altar will be available for anyone who wishes to add photos, offerings, or other items in honor of loved ones who have passed. Guests are also welcome to bring their own food, share traditions, or spend quiet time in reflection.
Local food vendors will also be invited to offer traditional foods, and the farm will remain open until the evening for candlelight and remembrance. A portion of ticket sales will be donated to El Centro Hispano to support their ongoing work in the community.
This is not a program led by the farm. It is simply a space where community members can gather, share, and honor the traditions of Día de Muertos in their own ways. All are welcome.
