Directors Cut is the ‘Survivor’ of improv! We begin with four completely different scenes and then you decide which stories continue and which ones end up on the cutting room floor. From spine-tingling mysteries to heartwarming romances, our ensemble transforms your ideas into vivid realities, scene by scene. After four rounds of scenes and audience voting, only one story will makes it to the end of the Directors Cut.

What If Theatre is dedicated to the art of improvisational theatre - which is a fancy way of saying, we do improvised plays. Not everything we do is funny. We aim for authenticity, but the truth comes first.  The funny thing is, that usually means that humor is close on its heels. 

We feature a variety of improv from the Denver area in addition to performing our own acts - and we welcome storytelling, magic, sketch, and other acts on our stage. We also feature local artists on our walls. Come check out our space! You will find it homey and warm, with the comfiest seats in Denver performing arts!
