Description
Every 2nd Tuesday | First Class: October 14
Join us for a brand-new monthly workshop with local artist Julie Jarvis! In Dis-Carded, you’ll transform old stamps, letters, and even junk mail into unique, handmade cards. Using collage and mixed-media techniques, Julie will guide you through a variety of approaches and materials to create cards that are truly one-of-a-kind.
The best part? The content is totally up to you. Make a birthday card, a Halloween card, a Thanksgiving or Christmas greeting, or even a heartfelt “thank you” or “thinking of you” card. With endless creative possibilities, no two classes (or cards!) will ever be the same.
Here are some of the themes: Blank, Happy Birthday, Sympathy, Thanksgiving, Valentine, Christmas, I love you, Thinking of you, Freedom (4th of July)
Each class, guests create 10 handmade cards to take home. Instead of spending money on store-bought cards, invest in an evening of creativity, connection, and stress-free fun. This class is about more than just paper - it’s about fellowship, self-expression, and crafting something meaningful by hand.
