Description
Enjoy the morning learning about agriculture as you visit 10+ stations about everything from animals, fruits & veggies, grain crops, to careers in agriculture. Please arrive by 9:45 to visit the registration desk and be ready to begin promptly at 10:00. There will be signs for parking. Dress appropriately for a farm. Educational stations will last about 2 hours and lunch will be served upon completion, around noon. Free lunch will be provided thanks to a generous sponsorship by the Shelby County Soil Conservation District. Also, during lunch there will be multiple opportunities to win door prizes. Thank you to Holly Tucker, Twin J Farms, and Shelby County Farm Bureau Board Womens' Committee for planning & hosting the event. Each student will need to pre-purchase a $2 ticket, and each adult needs to also "pre-purchase" a free ticket to plan for our meal. We're looking forward to a fun and educational day learning about agriculture in Shelby County!
