The DBDA, Inc. is an organization dedicated to the advancement of instrumental music education through the public, parochial and private schools in the parishes of Jefferson, Orleans, Plaquemines and St. Bernard. Through its various events, such as honor bands, instrumental music festivals and marching festivals, it strives to keep music a part of the educational curriculum in the schools throughout its district.
