Legendary Detroit-born hip-hop producer and DJ who lives and works in Los Angeles.
Background
Detroit Roots: He served as a resident DJ at Detroit's legendary St. Andrew's Hall from the mid-1990s through the early 2000s and worked at local record shops like Melodies & Memories and Street Corner Music.
Awards: He won the Detroit Music Award for Outstanding Hip-Hop DJ three consecutive times from 2005 to 2007.
Collaborations: He has produced and collaborated with notable artists including J Dilla, Proof, Phat Kat, Elzhi, Danny Brown, Quelle Chris and more.
Street Corner Music: After relocating to Los Angeles, he founded the independent record label Street Corner Music to champion underground hip-hop talent.
