Description
Love the museum? Come discover how to make it an even bigger part of your life.
Join the next cohort of tour guides for the Memphis Art Museum.
Our volunteers are people from our community who give a little of their time to welcome visitors, spark curiosity, and help others see our collections in a whole new way. You don’t need a background in art or any formal training. All you need is a love of art and a nurturing spirit. We’ll take care of the rest, with training led by a University of Memphis professor.
Come learn more at our Volunteer Interest Meeting. You’ll meet current volunteers, enjoy a sample tour, have the chance to interview on the spot for our 2027 group, and pick up free giveaways along with refreshments.
Choose whichever session works best for you:
Morning: 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM (Tea served)
Evening: 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM (Wine and beer served)
We’d love to meet you.
