Dog Splash is a full-day, purpose-built water-play event for dogs and their humans, featuring large-scale splash zones, a sprinkler garden, dedicated play areas for small and large dogs, and an all-in mixed play zone where confident dogs can enjoy active play together in a controlled, open-air setting.
Created by Dog Social in partnership with Officers Mess, New Farm, the event is designed for dogs who love to move, cool off, and socialise. Oversized dog-friendly pools, splash zones, and a sprinkler garden cater to different confidence levels, while shaded reset areas allow dogs to pause, regroup, and rejoin when ready. Dogs set the pace, and humans are encouraged to stay close, get involved, and enjoy the experience alongside them. Drying amenities and optional groomers are available on site.
Held at Officers Mess Lawn in New Farm on Sunday, 8 February 2026, the open-air venue provides space for dogs to explore and engage while maintaining a relaxed, social atmosphere. Gates open from 10am until early evening allowing attendees to play in the morning with human enjoying coffee and with one pass out on all tickets to return in the afternoon for cocktails with waging tails. The choice is yours.
Food and drink options will be available for purchase throughout the day, making it easy for humans to stay, recharge, and remain present while their dogs enjoy the water and space.
Dog Splash is structured to feel active yet comfortable. Thoughtfully placed amenities, clear zoning, and shaded areas shape the day, while Dog Social Pawfessionals are on hand throughout the event to support positive play, guide interactions, and help ensure dogs arrive settled and leave enriched.
Every Dog Social ticket supports local animal welfare groups, with a portion contributing to animal education, rescue, shelter, and adoption programs across Queensland.
Each ticket covers one dog and the members of their household. Additional dogs require a separate General Admission ticket, purchased at the same time.
Due to safety regulations and the wellbeing of the dogs, children under 16 years of age are not permitted at the event.
