Description
Come be a part of a weekend dedicated to dog training in Redmond, Oregon, guided by Forrest Micke. All disciplines welcome. If you're looking to dive deeper into modern dog training, this is a good opportunity. Our emphasis will be on practical exercises, with ample time devoted to discussions about the choices we make and the techniques we employ in our training. The practical work is based on the goals of the working spots but here are some common themes: Reward Systems & Modern Markers, Leash Skills, Functional Play, Session Management, Domestics, Setting Criteria, Handling, Heeling Exposé, Trouble-shooting. Limited spots are available for both active participants (Working spots) and observers (Auditing spots).
The event kicks off on Friday, April 12, from 4-6pm with a Meet and Greet exclusively for those holding working spots.
The main sessions will take place on Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 4:30pm. I look forward to an enjoyable and productive weekend with you.
